The Wealth of a Nation

This is called " The wealth of a nation", created by Seymour Fogel. This was painted in tempra in 1938. I believe this painting  represents the roles that everyday citizen played  through this economic downfall. They were the financial backbone of this country, from the warehouse worker to the scientists.

To me this painting shows the cohesiveness of different classes and man's ability to transcend social norms when pressed for the greater good.

Unlike most of the other pieces that just show different types of people working together usually in one setting, I like how this painting has all of the different workers in their own places, but those scenes seem to have no boundaries. They overlap and flow together. This shows, as you were saying, that no matter if you were a warehouse worker or a scientist, the work you were doing was important and working towards the same general goal.
